Pros:
- It runs in the latest Android OS and with a promise to update to the Marshmallow update (awesome!)
- It is super affordable in comparison to most phones in the market with lesser qualities
- The UI is stock Android
- It is an Android One phone
- It is super-fast and responsive which makes multi-tasking excellent
- Good call quality
- Good video quality
- Great game experience
- I discovered that quite a lot of apps I am used to seeing on my other Android phones are missing. There is no file manager (which means you have to install a third party file manager), you also do not have your usual photo gallery and only have “Photo” which is a Google app, and then no music app, but you have the Play music which of course is another Google app (sighs) … You have to download a bunch of apps to fill in these gaps from the Play Store.
- I discovered that when the battery power is down, I couldn’t get its charger to power it back on and had to use a desktop charger to boost the battery. (I’ve spoken to some couple of friends that also have the Infinix Hot 2 and only a few experience this, so I guess it might have been a factory glitch.)
- Average camera quality
- Average battery life (well, the battery is only 2200mAH)
