If for some reasons the amazing Doogee HomTom HT6 is out of your range, the HomTom HT5 offers a more pocket-friendly option of a power-laden smartphone. It comes with a 4,250mAh Battery and 5-inch HD display as well as similar quad-core processor and cameras as its bigger brother.

Design and Display

While it appears to be mostly active in the budget end of the market, Doogee Mobile is trying to push out devices that are appealing to the eyes still. You could notice this too in the HomTom HT5 with its ebony and black apricot wood rear covers.

The smartphone is aesthetic for a budget offering, although it is a tad thick at 9.8 millimetres.

Buyers get generous onboard storage with a capacity of 16 GB for storing their pictures, videos and all. This is expandable by up to 32 GB using a TF card.

Performance and OS

The same quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor running the show on the HomTom HT6 also sees to business here. The 64-bit CPU runs along at speeds of up to 1 GHz and is paired with a Mali T720 MP3 GPU.

However, you will have to make do with lowly 1 GB of RAM on the Doogee HomTom HT5. Like its bigger brother, the phone will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

Other Features

This smartphone offers impressive battery power, although not at the same level as the HomTom HT6. It packs a large 4,250mAh battery promised to offer up to 60 hours in talk time.

The unit also supports fast charging technology that supposedly gets you up to 75 percent capacity in just about half an hour. The Doogee HomTom HT5 can work on a 4G LTE network and supports dual-SIM functionality.
