Display and Camera

The Meizu m3 Note is rumoured to offer the same screen size of 5.5 inches as its predecessor. The IGZO IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen has an impressive resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels for awesome clarity. A high pixel density of about 440 ppi means you are in for highly enjoyable wide-angle viewing with your friends.

In the camera department, the Meizu m3 Note is engineered to take breathtaking images. It packs a robust 13-megapixel primary camera with autofocus, dual tone dual-LED flash and HDR.

The shooter records sharp Full HD (1080p) videos at 30 frames per second. A 5-megapixel selfie snapper with 1080p video recording capability is also expected in the package.

Hardware and Software

Under the hood, the m3 Note is expected to be equipped with a powerful MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 processor paired with a Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. Sources say the phablet will be made available in two models.

The base model will come with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of onboard storage. The more expensive variant offers a more generous 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage. The Meizu m3 Note is likely to boot Android 5.1 Lollipop, overlaid with its maker’s Flyme UI skin.

Other Features

This phablet allows users expand storage memory by up to 128 GB using a microSD card. Juice will be supplied by a 3,200mAh battery that is non user-replaceable. As would be expected of most phones from the midrange upwards these days, the Meizu m3 Note offers LTE support.

It also supports dual-SIM dual standby feature and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot.
