Apple's iOS 9.3 has even more issues than we thought

While Apple’s iOS 9.3 update brings some great new features like Night Shift and password protection for Notes, it also appears to render Internet browsers almost useless for many users. This follows the news that older devices were bricking after downloading the iOS update a few days after it released.
Apple pulled the ability to update to iOS 9.3 on older devices for the time being.

Apple’s community support forums have seen a number of posts recently where users are reporting that clicking links will cause the phone to lock up, and not just in Safari.

Tapping links in any app, including the Chrome browser, Mail and social media like Twitter, will cause the phone to freeze. For users who are having trouble when tapping links, some Apple Support Community posters suggested holding the link and opening it in a new tab or turning off JavaScript in Safari’s settings, but this doesn’t appear to fix the issue for everybody. Restarting your device or force closing the afflicted app also does not always make the problem go away.
User JohnUKDevon took a screenshot of his Live Chat with Apple Support, who said, “Apple is aware that there is an issue with the (sic) Safari becoming unresponsive. Apple is working extremely hard to release an update to resolve this issue.”
Apple did not immediately respond to request for comment.
